The ground carries a fine tanchoi texture, barely visible beneath the scattered gulab butis that rise across the surface in kadwa woven gold and silver zari. Each buta is a rose cluster petals layered over petals, leaves fanning outward worked individually on the loom in the alfi technique so that the gold and silver alternate from buta to buta across the body.
