The pattern offers one larger motif plus six smaller border patterns as well as instructions on how to incorporate all 24 colours effectively

Patterns used were created by my grandmother who is also a knitwear designer and I have done the colourwork and shaping to give the effect of "sea pinks" a flower often seen around Shetlands coastline
