When I paint this painting, I think of no specific place. I just think of a certain kind of glow that I can best express by putting down bright cadmium orange and yellow in large area, then a little blue violet cold color contrasts the warm colors. These colors release my fall fantasy, because I associate them with the idea of radiance, or glow.
